Mission
Neighborhood School provides transformative, personalized, justice-centered learning to children from all families of all economic means. We help students affirm their identity, find their voice, form community, and become the next generation of world-changers. Our program includes 50 students ranging in age from 5 to 12 who learn to identify injustice and take action, building ways to promote equity. Talented, dedicated teachers and concerned, supportive parents make the school an effective and loving environment in which to learn.
I had wanted my child to be the best and the brightest, but somewhere along the way that shifted to wanting his whole class to thrive.
