Mission

Neighborhood School provides transformative, personalized, justice-centered learning to children from all families of all economic means. We help students affirm their identity, find their voice, form community, and become the next generation of world-changers. Our program includes 60 students ranging in age from 4.5 to 12 who learn to identify injustice and take action, building ways to promote equity. Talented, dedicated teachers and concerned, supportive parents make the school an effective and loving environment in which to learn.

Neighborhood Schools, Inc. seeks students of varied backgrounds and abilities, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, family structure, national or ethnic origin, sexual identity, or handicap in administration of its educational and admissions policies, financial aid, and other school-administered programs.
