Reciprocity
Teachers guide students to share power, make decisions together, and show care. Through co-constructed learning, we live out the value that no person is disposable and that everyone belongs.
Gratitude
We return to the abundance of the natural world and the joy of purposeful work. We make meaning and art together, creating a more beautiful and just world. We slow down to wonder, because childhood is important; we have no time to rush.
Solidarity
Every student at NS learns about their interconnectedness with classmates, communities, and society at large. We experience how true safety and well-being comes through widening our circles of care.
