A Culture of Giving

Charitable giving and volunteerism are important traditions at Neighborhood School, and are essential to the financial health and vitality of our school. The school that we have today was made possible by the vision and generosity of many in our community. Click here to be directed to our secure online giving site, send donations to Neighborhood School at 34 Peter Parley Road, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130, or contact Tricia Morrow at As is true in many independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of educating an Neighborhood School student. Tax-deductible contributions help us to meet our annual budget expenditures and to plan for the future. There are many ways you can help to further the mission of the school:

  • By making a donation to the Neighborhood School Scholarship Fund, our annual fund campaign, (and have it matched by your employer, where applicable)
  • Including Neighborhood School in your estate planning
  • Making an in-kind donation, or sharing your time and talents as a volunteer

Whatever and however you give, your involvement is crucial, and we thank you for joining us. For more information about the NS Scholarship Fund, please visit this page.
